Endpoints are defining the switching configuration border.
These Endpoints will be used during switching route definitions and/or switching commands like Connect/Disconnect (Endpoint_m, Endpoint_n).
The Auto-Router will find a valid route through the switching system. More info in section Auto-Router Rules.

Every module previously listed in the switching configuration appears on the left side of the Endpoints folder.
By selecting the modules virtual name on the left side, the right window shows all connector pin related information.
User Label, Physical Pin Reference and Description have just informative content.
Endpoint Name and Signal Isolation and Endpoint Protection are used by the signal router.

The more information per pin is provided the more information a user will see during the wiring, routing and relay groups creation.
The Endpoint Alias Names are individually editable. Various ASCII characters like space ! / & , ; etc. are not allowed.
All alias names are not case sensitive (ABC=abc=AbC, etc).
Each Endpoint holds an attribute for Signal Isolation and and an attribute for Endpoint Protection.
