Modules

The Modules configuration window is used to configure the switching system by selecting and defining the required

•module

•interface and its driver (LXI Modular or LXI Standalone or PXI/PCI)

•module address

•virtual name

There are two ways to configure a SPM project:

Either by a manual entry of each individual module or by an Auto-Detect which is the recommended method.

Auto-Detect communicates with the hardware already before it gets added to the configuration. It handles addressing, verifies the existance in SPM, generates an alias name (can be changed later) and returns the serial number of each module.
